About Emma
Board Certified Health Coach · RCP Consultant
I didn’t find this work. It found me.
Who I Am
I work one-to-one with people who have done everything they were told, and still feel terrible. People who are tired of being tired, who carry weight that won’t shift no matter how clean they eat, who wake up exhausted and go to bed the same way.
I know that person. I spent years watching them. And I knew, before I could fully articulate why, that the advice they were being given wasn’t going to help them.
Based in Andorra,
in the Pyrenees.
Working with people
across the world.
My Background
I didn’t come to this through a university degree or a straight-line career. I came through living, which is a much messier and more interesting route.
I studied food and nutrition in school. I’d always loved food, teaching myself to cook for the family from the age of eight, but in those early years my main interest in “healthy eating” was how I could eat enough to be satisfied and still manage to not gain weight, which was always a battle, since childhood.
None of it was wasted. Every chapter taught me something about adaptability, about reading people, about building something from scratch with your own hands. But it was a brief spell working as a carer that changed everything.
What the timeline doesn’t show is what ran alongside all of it: a battle with bulimia that started when I was a young teenager and didn’t let go until my early 50s. Nearly four decades. I understand from the inside what it means to have a complicated, painful relationship with food. The compulsion, the shame, the cycle that feels impossible to break. I understand what it costs, and I understand what it takes to finally step free of it.
Foundations
Trained as a chef. Worked as a nanny and housekeeper in the States at 19. Financial services on my return to the UK.
Building & creating
Interior decorator as a new mother. Aerobics instructor. Six years teaching aqua aerobics in Doha, Qatar.
The turning point
Sales, fund distribution. Top Etsy seller in Devon, specialising in Ercol and G-Plan, shipping restored furniture across Europe. Then a brief spell as a carer that crystallised everything.
The Moment Everything Changed
I was only a carer for a few months. But those few months were enough.
These were people who had done everything right. Taken the pills, followed the advice, trusted the doctors. And they were miserable. Hurting. Metabolically broken. Some were living with dementia. I was shocked at how young some of them were. Not people who had given up. People who had been failed.
I knew then, with absolute certainty, that I didn’t want that for myself. After moving to Andorra, just after the lockdown ended, I retrained and qualified as a health coach with the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
“I didn’t want that for myself. And I didn’t want it for anyone I worked with.”
The Beginning
In the beginning, I was a weight loss coach. I used my own experience of turning my health around at age 53 to help other people struggling with obesity. Blood sugar, building from the ground up, doing it in a way that was sustainable rather than punishing. No crash diets. No restriction for the sake of it. Just nourishment, done properly.
And it worked. People lost weight. They felt better. They came back and told me things had shifted.
But I kept seeing patterns that nagged at me. The fatigue that wouldn’t lift even when everything else improved. The anxiety sitting just below the surface. The inflammation that didn’t respond the way it should. The excess body fat that held on stubbornly no matter how well someone was eating.
I was getting results, but I knew I wasn’t getting to the root of something. I just didn’t yet know what that something was.
The Science Behind It
Then, in 2025, I found Morley Robbins and the Root Cause Protocol.
I didn’t learn something new. I recognised something I had already been watching play out in so many of my clients. The RCP gave me the science, the language, and the framework for what I was already seeing in front of me.
Mineral dysregulation. The relationship between iron, copper and magnesium. Chronic stress as a driver of metabolic dysfunction at the cellular level. The reason why so many people do everything right and still feel wrong.
I trained formally as an RCP Consultant because I hold myself to the same standard I hold my clients. If I’m going to ask people to question everything they’ve been told, the least I can do is make sure I know what I’m talking about.
Today
I live and work in the Pyrenees in Andorra with my husband Simon, after 32 years together and counting. Our dog Mikey joins me on the mountain walks I film for my YouTube channel, where I translate complex science into plain English using humour and analogies.
In my late 50s and stronger than I’ve ever been. No meds, no HRT. Just real food, movement, and the mountains. I ride horses, hike, play tennis, and I sleep deeply.
Every single one of my clients came to me having already tried the mainstream approach. Every single one of them deserved better than what they’d been given. That’s why I do this.
My Philosophy
We are all part of the same energy, intrinsically connected to each other and to nature, no matter how far technology tries to pull us from that.
Your body is not failing you. It is responding to something, and that something can be found, understood, and addressed. You are not a prisoner of your family history.
Mineral balancing, real food, movement, sauna, cold exposure and sunlight are the foundations of genuine health. Getting to the root of where the stress started is the key.
The language of choice, not obligation. You choose to. You want to. You get to. Never have to.
